Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc

Light straw in color, our Sauvignon Blanc opens with bright citrus, lime, and tangerine aromas that carry through the palate. The wine finishes with crisp acidity and a touch of minerality.

Vintage

2015 began with an earlier-than-normal bud break. Rainfall came primarily early and late in the season. During flowering, the weather became cool and cloudy, but after fruit set, moderate temperatures settled in. Punctuated by a few hot spells, the growing season was long, allowing for perfect ripening and an early harvest.

Grape Sourcing

We source our grapes from select Central Coast and North Coast vineyards where cool nights and warm afternoon breezes ripen the fruit slowly for intense, delicious flavor. North Coast vineyards, including Bald Eagle and River Oaks, showcase grassy notes with flavors of grapefruit and melon, while Central Coast vineyards feature hints of asparagus and citrus.
