Gold Medal 2017 New York International Wine Competition

Chardonnay

Our Chardonnay has intense aromas of ripe apple and pear, complemented by notes of brown spice and toasted oak. The wine has ripe fruit flavors with a smooth, creamy texture and a long, full finish.

Vintage

Moderate temperatures prevailed throughout most of spring and summer, providing ideal conditions for flavor development. Dry, warm weather patterns continuing into the fall allowed for the grapes to ripen to full maturity prior to harvest, resulting in wines of exceptional quality and concentration.

Grape Sourcing

We source our grapes from select Central Coast and North Coast vineyards where cool nights and warm afternoon breezes ripen the fruit slowly for intense, delicious flavor. North Coast vineyards including River Oaks showcase apples, pears, and citrus, while Central Coast Pine Creek and Pinnacles feature tropical fruit, pineapple, and guava.
